Our 30 Day Digital Detox Challenge is all about introducing you to some simple ways to develop a healthy relationship with your phone in 2017!

Welcome to Day 12 of the digital detox challenge.

The challenge for today is about substituting an ‘online’ action with something that we used to do a lot more of offline.

Day 12 – write a card or letter to someone you’d normally text

Don’t get us wrong, we definitely wouldn’t want to return to the days when we had to write everything by hand! But we do think that some interactions deserve a bit more than just a text or an email. And our relationships are suffering because of our tendency to take the onscreen option.

So, today think about someone you would normally text or email and write and send them a note in the post instead. It might be a card to someone who’s ill, or a thank-you note for a present at Christmas. Or maybe even just a note of appreciation to someone who means a lot to you?

Let’s be honest we all love receiving something in the post don’t we? And yet we’re more and more inclined to dash off a quick email instead of making the effort to send something ourselves. So put that right today.
