Our 30 Day Digital Detox Challenge is all about introducing you to some simple ways to develop a healthy relationship with your phone in 2017!
Welcome to Day 3 of the digital detox challenge!
How are you getting on? How did you manage yesterday eating your lunch with your phone in a different room? Did it enhance the experience? Did you find your relished and enjoyed your meal just that little bit more? Or were you itching to get back to your phone, distracted by what you might be missing and uncomfortable?
We’ve been starting our challenge by gently introducing you to small steps every day to spend time away from your phone. It’s been nothing too scary, we hope, just a way for you to find out how easy or difficult it is for you to switch off.
So today the challenge is;
Day 3 – leave your phone behind for an HOUR
Today we want you to try and leave your phone behind for an hour when you go out. It could be for your lunch break, a shopping trip, a walk, anything that gets you outside without your phone in your pocket or your hand. As we say in our digital detox manifesto, we’re a great believer in the restorative power of nature. We find it the perfect antidote to endless screen scrolling.

We hope that at the end of the 30 days you’ll have found something that works for you to help you spend time off screen this year. Even if the thought of a full-on digital detox retreat is just too much to contemplate at the moment, just taking these small daily steps will give you a taster of what logging-off can do for you.
